RNA quantification just leveled up.
The new RNA Module for Countable PCR is here—bringing one-step reverse transcription and amplification directly into the Countable PCR workflow.
Unlike other qPCR or digital PCR (dPCR) workflows, Countable PCR enables true single-molecule detection across a broad dynamic range. And now with the RNA Module, researchers can start directly with RNA, resulting in a simplified workflow with higher reproducibility.
This integrated approach isn't just about convenience — it fundamentally improves data quality. By performing RT and amplification directly in the Countable Matrix, researchers remove sample handling steps while also isolating RNA molecules across 30 million compartments (around 10-fold more than dPCR) to confidently amplify molecules without interference. The result: minimal RT and PCR bias, accurate quantification across six orders of magnitude (from 10 to 1 million molecules), and sensitivity to detect rare transcripts at minimal residual disease (MRD)-detection levels.

The RNA Module also supports 4-plex multiplexing, allowing simultaneous detection of multiple fusion transcripts or viral RNA targets. And with 3D light sheet imaging, researchers can visualize and count every amplified molecule directly—no ΔCt values, no fluorescence thresholds or gating, and no standard curves. Just direct counts, automatically generated by the analysis software.
Best of all, it’s fully compatible with hydrolysis probes such as TaqMan - no need to redesign assays that you already have up and running. And, if you already have a Countable System, the RNA Module for Countable PCR is already compatible - no hardware upgrades or new instrument required. That means you can expand your current system’s capabilities instantly—no additional cost required.
